By public transport: line 1, headline. Bus equipped with manual footboard, accessible bus stop - height difference between road and pavement: 16 cm. Road surface: asphalt, stone slabs, herringbone porphyry strips, short cobbled sections near the entrance to the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore

GAP

Largely flat. Short uphill and downhill sections in Piazza Reginaldo Giuliani. Slightly uphill is via Mura di Santa Grata and slightly downhill via Salvecchio.

Three reserved parking spaces in Colle Aperto area. There is the possibility of parking in Piazza Cittadella (limited traffic zone) if you first report your licence plate number and disability pass to the Local Police: tel. 035 3830113

VERSION SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH MOTOR DISABILITIES

These points will be visited: Largo Colle Aperto, Piazza Cittadella, Piazza Mascheroni, Via Colleoni, the main street of Upper Bergamo, Chiesa del Carmine, Piazza Vecchia, the most important and central square in the old city. Palazzo della Ragione, the Angelo Mai Civic Library, Palazzo del Podestà. We will cross Palazzo della Ragione, Piazza del Duomo, the Colleoni Chapel, St Alexander's Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The return to Colle Aperto is via Via Arena, Mura di Santa Grata and Salvecchio.

VERSION SUITABLE FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED

The itinerary, with minimal variations, can be visited supported by a specialised guide with a multisensory approach. The experience includes visits to various places that allow a tactile exploration as well as sound and olfactory enjoyment.
